Folly Lane 12 - Thatto Heath Cruasders Under 18s 20
Thatto Heath’s champion-winning Under 18’s squad are continuing in their success as they put Folly Lane to the sword to earn their place in the National Cup Final.
Two interception tries from Jack Jones put Heath 12-nil up by half-time but Folly came out strong in the second half and with 14 minutes on the clock the scores were level at 12-all. A great break by Sean Kenny saw him beat Folly’s last 4 men to score under the sticks and leave an easy conversion. Folly Lane continued to press Heath in their own half but Thatto applied good pressure which saw them win a penalty two minutes from time which Jack Jones may no problem with his 4th goal of the day.
The final against Rylands will be played on Sunday 4th June at Woodlands Memorial Ground, Fylde.
