Thatto Heath Crusaders U8's v Rylands

ANOTHER WEEK , ANOTHER WIN !!!!
After two cracking training sessions during the week Thatto Heath were pumped up for this match today and it showed in the game !
The boys were well disciplined which shown on their performance on the field and are now the team to beat !
Rylands had some big lads running hard at our defence but our lads kept the line strong and tackled well as a team. Our running was fantastic, our ball skills brilliant but best of all our defence was outstanding. Our training tactics paid off which produced 4 great tries with no reply from Rylands. Sam R got the ball rolling with our first try as he blasted he's way down the centre of the field, quickly followed by Joe Ley and Cian whom have taken on board what skills they have remembered in training which paid off and was good rugby to watch! Then to round the first half off, Ellis with a big drive went over for Thatto Heaths fourth try. 4-0
The second half was just how we left off with Thatto Heath on the front foot , this produced three more cracking tries, Ellis crossed the line which made the 5th try , with a great team effort from Sam Mc hard drive forward followed by massive run with a fab off load by Joe A slipped to Ellis which created the team try !
The 6th try came with the help of Thatto Heaths hard running got Danny to burst through Rylands line to make it 6-0 . The next run came from little Liam, with a brill side step which through Rylands defence, Liam cross the line to make the score 7-0 .
Thatto Heath may well have had a bigger score ,when Sam L fell within a couple of inches of Rylands try line , also a few more held ups over the line followed . Thatto finished the game 7-1 due to Rylands last big effort when they drove up the field for their first try.
All the team today worked well and that's what got us the result .
