Wigan St Judes 24 - Thatto Heath Crusaders U/18s 30
Thatto Heath Crusaders Under 18’s squad have made it through to the Gillette National Youth League Grand Final after a fantastic 30 – 24 win over local rivals Wigan St Judes on Sunday. Heath started the first half very strong and were quickly 14-nil up however Judes dug in to take the scores level at the break. Great defence and strong attacking play saw Thatto play the better rugby of the two teams and were able to hold on to a 30-24 lead with ten minutes to go which seems them face other Wigan rivals Ince Rose Bridge in what is sure to be a fantastic final at Big Fella’s Stadium, Featherstone, this Friday night for a 7:30pm kick-off.
